Ayurvedic detox tea, also known as CCF tea, is made of roasted coriander, cumin and fennel seeds. It is Tridoshic which means it balances all three doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
It stimulates Agni, improves circulation, clears out water retention, cleanses the urinary tract and reduces water weight. CCF tea also eliminates the buildup of toxins in the body.
This tea is beneficial for improving metabolism in the body, restoring vitality, calming the mind and relaxing nervous system.
It corrects liver functions, increases the secretion of the bile, decreases the accumulated fat in the body, reduces excess acid in the stomach and increases breast milk production. It can be used to treat abdominal cramps during menstruation.
You should avoid drinking CCF tea during pregnancy and metrorrhagia (abnormal bleeding from the uterus).
